J-Tube Seals [JTs]

The product (SURF) is arguably one of our clients’ most precious assets and protecting that asset is paramount. We offer an array of equipment to ensure the product is protected during its lifecycle, or to ensure that the product performs as intended during that time.

  • Passive (diver-less) / Diver Installed or Activated J-Tube Seal

  • ROV Activated J-Tube Seal

  • Retrofit J-Tube Seal (diver-installed)

  • Centralisers

Key Features and Purpose:

Our flagship J-Tube Seal provides excellent flexibility in terms of installation methodology.

With options to attach VBR (Vertebrae Bend Restrictors) to the rear or operate as a seal only, the split design ensures it can be easily installed on the vessel, or fully subsea by diver, by aligning the 2-off pre-assembled halves & bolting together longitudinally.

The fully polymeric (except for the fasteners) unit provides a lightweight handling topside solution & neutrally buoyant system for diver installation.

All activation fasteners are accessible to the rear of the seal, meaning it can be safely activated, adjusted or removed by diver once in position. For diverless solutions, all seals are activated topside prior to over-boarding.
