Pull-in Heads.
Articulated Pull-in Heads
The Articulated Pull-in Head is fitted to the front of a subsea umbilical to allow it to be safely pulled into position during offshore installation. It provides a secure connection point for the pull-in wire, distributes loads into the umbilical’s strength members, and allows articulation that allows angular movement so pulling forces remain aligned and do not damage the cable. Its profile and reinforced design helps guide and protect the umbilical as it passes through structures such as J-tubes or I-tubes, reducing stress, preventing kinks, and ensuring a controlled installation.
OUR TRACK-RECORD
We have successfully delivered a range of diameters, lengths and load requirements associated to Pull-in Heads and have a wealth of knowledge across over a decade of supplying such equipment.
EXPERIENCE
Our management team have over 60-years’ experience in the oil, gas & renewables sectors and have personally been involved in FEED to delivery of products covering SURF/TURF projects.
