Wear Protection.

Wear Protection Elements [WPE]

Our WPE is manufactured from 56°D polyurethane, a field-proven subsea system that is known for its excellent wear & impact resistance properties.

The design is installable by ROV & incorporates an external ROV grip profile on the element. The interface is specifically sized to suit traditional ROV grip tools.

OUR TRACK-RECORD

Our track record demonstrates extensive delivery of Riser and Umbilical Wear Protection (WPE) systems across major North Sea assets, including Troll C and Kristin Sør in the North Sea. Between 2024 and 2025, we have supplied large volumes of WPE 300, WPE 304, and WPE 400 units, reinforcing a strong and consistent project execution history in demanding offshore environments.

EXPERIENCE

With deep technical expertise spanning engineering, project management, production, and offshore execution, we have successfully supported major operators on high-volume and technically challenging installations.

Pre-production qualification testing of the ROV Installed WPE is performed in our workshop prior to taking the equipment offshore, giving utmost confidence in a successful installation.

All WPEs are subjected to an extensive In-house test programme prior to the client witnessed test, inclusive of:

- Installation test on simulated riser

- Load testing on pins

- Removal testing

- Product impact/vibration testing
